Latest Updates 1-7-2023
- MMDC is now accepting most of the Universities from all countries

- Candidates who studied abroad should hold a permanent registration from their home country Medical Council , eg. an Indian doctor who studied his Orthopedics Master in Ukraine / China should hold a valid permanent Indian Medical Council License as an orthopedic specialist ( specialist registration ) , otherwise his degree as a specialist won't be accepted.
- All Universities Medical degrees from the following countries are accepted :
India , Pakistan , Nepal , Bangladesh , Egypt , Myanmar , Sri-lanka.
- Only FCPS / Master degree / FCPS qualify for the post of consultant .

- Diploma / MCPS / MRCS / MRCP are not accepted for the post of consultant .
- All other Arab / African University Graduates can apply.

- Good Standing Certificate from Medical Council is a must - Valid 3 months from issuance.

- Police CLearance Certificate is a must for medical officers upon submission of documents and should be valid upon arrival - valid 3 months from issuance - no matter how many times you need to pay for it .

- IELTS / OET are not required from doctors who come from commonwealth countries -previously under British governance : India , Pakistan , Nepal , Bangladesh , Egypt , Myanmar

- IELTS / OET  : not required as long as your first foreign language in high school transcript is mentioned as English - should be provided as English competency certificate .

- IELTS 6 / OET " validity 2 years from Exam"
required from Russian / French speaking countries eg. Russia / Ukraine / Morocco .. etc.

- Medical Officers who have practiced in Maldives starting from June 2017 should pass MMDC exam at their own expenses before renewing their MMDC license , then hunting a job.

- Important notes for Myanmar doctors , please make sure of the following :
1- having a Good Standing certificate from Myanmar medical council ( new & valid 3 months )
2- having police clearance certificate ( new & valid 3 months )

3- Already outside / able to fly outside Myanmar to join within one month of getting a job offer
4- Notary Translation is not accepted and translated documents should be stamped by issuing bodies

5- Electronic stamped / edited documents are not accepted
 

-  يمكن التقديم لأي من حاملي شهادات من الجامعات العربية / المصرية بكالوريوس

- للأخصائيين : ماستر من كل الجامعات المصرية مقبول ( ماستر = Consultant )
- للممارس العام أي جامعة عربية أو مصرية مقبولة

- الراتب ثابت بغض النظر عن سنوات الخبرة

- الدكتوراه لا تضيف للراتب

- لابد من تقديم شهادة حسن سير و سلوك سارية صلاحيتها المقبولة ثلاثة أشهر من الإصدار من المجلس الطبي أو النقابة 

- يشترط للممارس العام تقديم شهادة الفيش الجنائي سارية ثلاثة أشهر من الإصدار من الجهات الأمنية

- في حال الحصول علي شهادة من الخارج يجب ان تكون معترف بها من المجلس الطبي لبلدك الأم

- لا يشترط الحصول علي ايلتس او اجتياز اختبار لغة عموما

- يجب تقديم شهادة الثانوية العامة مذكور بها الانجليزية لغة اجنبية أولي

- يجب تقديم شهادة اجتياز اختبار لغة ايلتس أو أو إي تي للدول الناطقة بغير الانجليزية كلغة أجنبية مثال المغرب

- أي شهادة يجب أن تكون صادرة أصل انجليزي من المصدر مثل البكالوريوس أو الإمتياز من الكلية أو الجامعة -شهادة أخصائي أو حسن سير من النقابة - خبرة أو ترخيص مزاولة مهنه من وزارة الصحة

- أي شهادة لا تصدر أصل انجليزي لا يتم قبول أي ترجمة بدون ختم نسر علي الشهادة بالانجليزية حتي لو من مكتب معتمد

- لا يلزم توثيق خارجية لأي شهادات مصرية طالما تحمل ختم نسر علي الأصل الانجليزي
- الدبلومة أو اي شهادة تم دراستها في أقل من 3 سنوات لا ترقي في التخصص
- الزمالة المصرية أو العربية أو الانجليزية أو الايرلندية لا ترخص من المجلس الطبي المالديفي  

- في حال عمل الطبيب سابقا ممارس عام في المالديف بعد يونيو 2017 , يتحتم عليه اجتياز اختبار المجلس الطبي المالديفي

Documents required for Maldives Medical & Dental Council MMDC registration :
 

1- CV in English with a recent Formal Passport Photo
سيرة ذاتية بها صورة رسمية حديثة

2- Passport copy valid for at least 1 year
صورة باسبور ساري لمدة سنة علي الاقل

3- Basic medical degree MBBS / MBBCH Convocation Certificate ( not Provisional)
شهادة بكالوريس أصل انجليزي بدون كلمة مؤقتة من الكلية 

4-Basic Medical Degree Transcript sheet of Marks / Grades
من الكلية بيان درجات بكالوريوس أصل انجليزي

5- Certificate of one year Internship ( House officer job ) Detailed 12 months with specialties
شهادة امتياز من الكلية أصل انجليزي تفصيلية ١٢ شهر

6- Certificate of Good Standing ( GSC ) Mandatory valid for 3 months ( should be valid on arrival )
شهادة حسن سير و سلوك نقابة عامة، صلاحيتها ٣شهور من الاصدار

7- Certificate of Registration \ License to practice (Home or Graduation country)
ترخيص مزاولة مهنة أصل انجليزي من وزارة الصحة - ادارة التراخيص

8- Experience certificates + Training Courses / workshops eg. ALS , ACLS , ATLS , BLS
شهادات خبرة انجليزي من فترة التخرج/بداية الماستر و حتي الان

10- Secondary High School Certificate mentioning English as a first foreign Language
IELTS is not a must for Doctors from Egypt , India , Pakistan , Bangladesh , Sri
Exception : Candidates from ( Russia / Ukraine / Uzbekistan / Moldova .. )
need English proficiency test is a must ( IELTS 6 . TOEFL 600 )

الايلتس غير مطلوب للمصريين - تويفل المحلي للماستر غير معترف به -


11- Criminal Record Police Clearance certificate valid 3 months only ( just before arrival )
فيش و تشبيه - يمكن اصداره قبل الوصول مباشرة للمالديف صلاحيته ٣ شهور من تاريخ الاصدار

12- Postgraduate Medical degree :
Convocation Final Certificate needed ( not Provisional / Temporary )
Study duration in Transcript sheet not less than 3 years  
🟢Accepted : Master Degree MSc / FCPS / MD are accepted
🔴Not Accepted : any Post Graduate Degree study duration less than 3 years alone is NOT accepted by MMDC starting 2018 eg. Diploma / Royal or Irish College Memberships / Egyptian / Arab Board Fellowships / UK 1 or 2 year Master / Diploma all are not accepted )

16 - ( Only in case you're working currently in Gulf countries ) Non objection letter from your current employer stating the end date of your valid contract & that you have submitted a non renewal letter

خطاب عدم ممانعه من جهة العمل اذا كان المتقدم يعمل بالخليج 
مع ذكر تاريخ انتهاء التعاقد و الرغبة بعد التجديد 
و ذلك لعدم ضياع الوقت و المجهود ثم الاعتذار لان رواتب الخليج أفضل

17 - ( Only for Pakistani Doctors ) 
to apply for Visa ( EA ) required to fill   IM 30 Form 📕
